M: 8'1" B ABOUT THE HARAKI The haraki look like anthro-animophized animals, rangeing in animals in the weasel (Mustelidae) family. But, they're more animalistic, and some get bigger than humans, as can be seen in some of the badger-like breeds. Their stature also depends on the breed; while the weasel-likes are often acrobatic, agile, and lithe, the badger-likes are stocky, bear-like, and usually somewhat muscular. The claws also depend on badger-likeness or weasel-likeness; the badger-likes claws are blunter, but longer, thicker, and less curved. THe weasel-likes' are more small, hooked, and sharper, more like a cat's. The badger-likes also seem to have more lethal teeth and jaw-strength, though the weasel-likes still tend to bite. They all have very acute senses of smelling and hearing, though, and slitted eyes for seeing in dark places, though their eyes range in many, sometimes unusual colors. The noises they make are also differenced by badger-likeness or weasel-likeness. While badger-likes can roar, and often seem to 'rumble' in deep pitches even in their usual tone, the weasel-likes' are more higher-pitched. Instead of roaring, they have war-cries, which are more of screeches. Though, all haraki can snarl, hiss, growl, yelp, and other animalistic noises. Some of the badger-likes sometimes become man-eating rogues, unfortunately. As of hair; haraki can have as much variation in hair as humans, but are often wild and frzzy-haired or silky and straight-haired. Colors range greatly, from human colorations of hair, to colors affected by their fur color. Wondering what happens when a haraki gets lycanthropy/becomes a werewolf? (Or any other kind of were?) The same as what happens with a human. Depending on the story, lycanthropy varies, so I can't go into too much detail, but I'll set the basics. They change like humans would, (On purpose/Against their will) and nothing changes for times either, as this depends on yhe kind of lycanthropy. Though, lycanthrope haraki will often seem more animalistic than others, and they tend to bite more often that use their claws in battle, as that it how a wolf fights. An increase in stamina is also noticed, and for some, the fur thickens. Now, wondering if they can interbreed with humans? Well, yes, they can. And they can interbreed with huldra, kitsunes, and krix. I'll list the outcomes... For a human-haraki crossbreed, it varies. You could get a greatly less-animalistic haraki (No sharpened senses, no slitted eyes, no claws, blunter fangs, more humanoid noises/voice), or an usually animalistic human (Slitted eyes, sharpened sense, stronger jaw-strength, more fang-like teeth, able to snarl and growl as an animal might). As of general appearance, particularly unsightly crossbreeds are unusual but possible. But, things such has a human with haraki ears and tail is possible, and so is any other mix of genes, though the ones listed here are the most common. Weasel-like breeds crossbreed with humans more often and badger-like breeds, due to similiariety in size. Now, what happens when they interbreed with krix? Similiar results as with humans, but since both races are quite animalistic, there's little change in that sort of behavior. The results could be a krix with haraki ears and tail, or haraki with krix tail and claws. As of mixes with huldras/huldrekarl; not too much different than humans. If it's a haraki with cow/fox tail, then it has inherited the huldra's tremendous or unatural strength if the huldra has that, and the huldra's druid-likeness (Where animals don't flee from them, and even wild things act tame.). So, it could look like a haraki with cow/fox tail, or a human with cow/fox tail and haraki ears. Or it may miss out on the druid and/or strength genetics, and simply seem as either a less-animalistic haraki, more animalistic human, or animalistic/not animalistic human with haraki ears and tail. Ok, about haraki-kitsune interbreeds; the fox ears and tail will not be passed down as it won't exactly be with itsune-human crossbreeds, but the fox ears and tail/tails might show when they use powerful magics. So, it will look just as a haraki-human crossbreed, with the same outcomes in general appearance and animalisticness, though the outcome may inherit the kitsune's good complexion. I think I've gone over the majority of the races I think they can interbreed with, and I believe there are more, seeing I still have room for more races on 'Zienth,' as I call it. Now for something completely unrelated to genetics; the Ortora martial arts, as I've been calling them so far. Just a series of fighting techniques makeing up for the lack of earthly martial arts where the haraki live. I'll probably give it a better name later, but as you can probably tell, this martial arts of whatever I should call it, was designed by the Ortora (Otter) breed. I haven't planed any of the 'moves' yet, but it's supposed to be simple and realistic. I don't want it exaggerated and far-fetched like people make karate and other martial arts seem these days.
