This is a page for all my pictures and images of the creatures of Zienth, including the immortal dragons. The picture above, though, is that of the usual coloration of a doggin.
Older stuff on bottom, newer stuff on top.
Older stuff on bottom, newer stuff on top.
I drew another picture of Jahklin, in human form, but decided I didn't like it...
So instead, here's that nameless werewolf again. By the new moon. I think I've decided on female for their gender, but I tend to want to call them 'they' instead of 'she' and stuff...

Here, I drew a koopa (AKA, dragon-turtle.). The bubbles are grey because they're filled with smoke, as koopas breath fire. At least mine's do.
I drew a hydra according to my information on them in the beastiary.
This would be an ash dragon...
This is the Sleep dragon.
And finally, the Necromancer/Necrotic dragon.
This here, would be your common sea dragon. With unproportional eyes.
A voidmere-donkey hybrid, wearing face-paints and gold earrings. There is also blue paint on the tail, and a ring there as well. As you can see, this hybrid has a snaggle-fang; a fang that pokes slightly out of the mouth. It kinda looks like it might be for a circus.
Finally, a voidmere picture. I don't know why it took me so long to get around to drawing one. I drew this one without the armor, though.
This little creature here is a Louriku. Their cave-dwelling mammals with a long, agile, weasel-like structure. They have these segments seemingly sliced into their backs, where a faint cyan or indigo glow illuminates. These segments also allow them to be very flexible and to bend and twist in unusual ways, and open up more and glow brighter when they arch their back. Their also covered in thick black fur, except for their short-furred tails. Their tail-tips glow, though; Likely to attract prey, like a lure. Louriku live in bands called 'Leerks', and their young are called 'lourlets.' Being cave-dwelling creatures, their senses are very acute, except for their poor eyesight. Often time lights, even the sun will seem too bright to them, and their skeletal structure is generally a very flexible, extraordinarily light cartilage. It allows them to bend and twist in ways that would be unnatural for most. Except their jaws and teeth, though, those are bone. Hollow bone.
This is a slansis. They live in rain forests, and hunt small creatures such as bats, birds, monkeys, and more. Though this one is growling, their usually very bouncy and playful. Speaking of bouncing, these beasties can bound up to huge heights and lengths, bouncing from branch to branch. Even though their the size of lions. They live together in groups usually called 'hordes' and are very social. Their also reptilian, but I think you can see that from the picture. They have one horny spike on their upper jaw, and two on their lower. These spikes fit together to make a 'M' shape when they close their maws. Their scales are dark green, and their eyes a a bright, yellowy-green color.
I'll be looking for my Slansis picture, and probably have more pictures coming up. For now, I'll give some info on the Trecki.
The trecki live deep in volcanoes, swimming in lava with special heat-proof hide. There is a chemical infused into all of their mass that makes it so they don't burn, or melt. They have a very salamander-like build, and are around the size of a crocodile, and prey on other creatures that call the volcanoes home. They are related to dragons, but cannot breath fire. Though, they can heat their teeth for a painful bite. They can scoop lava into their mouths, provided there's some around, and spit it out at enemies. That concludes it, I guess. Maybe more later.

My picture of a chimera. It's name is 'Odd.' She's thinks like a goat. Her snake head is a banded sea snake, her goat head is an angora goat, and her other head is black panther. Because she thinks like a goat, she craves humanoid attention, and loves to eat fruit. She can eat meat, but doesn't like it. In this picture, you'll find her looking lonely, and wandering through a forest.
Here's a full view of the picture above. I named this particular abyssal eel-dragon-creature Sightless. It's not evil or anything, just scary.
Another picture, of the same Sightless, I guess.
Just another picture of Sightless, poking (Her?) head out of a crevice, which is possibly her lair, with her mouth as closed as she can possibly get it.
A full view of Sightless.
Here's a top view of Sightless. She has glowing dots streaming down her back, and along her sides, to describe.
A picture of Sightless as she hunts, or scavenges, I guess,
I tried using GIMP instead of Paint, but I couldn't figure out how to shrink, enlarge, or change the size of my art tool. So, I couldn't make the lines as small as I liked, sadly. But this is a picture of Zaganari.
I finally figured out how to shrink and enlarge the lines (With the help of a good friend), yay! Here, I show a snaux, about to pounce on a cariboul. As you can see, this specimen has heterochromia irdium, a defect where one eye is one color, and one eye another color.
Here, I show the fierce ash dragoness Jair encountering a friend's character. I was requested to draw a crimson anthro-animorphized wolf, with the shown clothing, but I'm not sure this modern wolf 'furry's attire fits the medieval-fantasy theme of the rest of the picture. Oh well.
Finally, a chicken-griffon! As such is possible on Zienth.
This is one of my newer species, a Tarvon. Tarvons as sorta like the opposite of griffons, instead of cat and bird, they're hyena and dragon.
Here's Odd- In color! She's talking to an oddly unsymmetrical winged and shocking magenta pig.
Here's some digital art of a trecki, though I forgot the sailfin.
This is Vexen, a crimson-y-scarlet colored griffon of cockatiel and some species of big cat. He is, indeed, one of Zienth's myths.
Just some black doggin I decided to draw.
This is a Thakur. They're about the size of smallish donkeys with the males bigger than females, and they like to live in snowy areas. If they lived in Tameriel, then they would be ALL OVER Skyrim. They like snowy mountains to make their dens in, but will travel down to the pine forests and tundras below when searching for food. They are good at climbing their rocky domains, but can't exactly scale up trees. They can stand on their hind legs like bears, and hold things between their forepaws like a squirrel, or rodent. They can also 'hobble,' or 'waddle' along while standing if they wish, so they can sort of shuffle along in a sort of 'penguin walk' whilst carrying things between their paws. They are fluffy in the same areas a giant ant-eater is fluffy, and they are omnivorous. They have long tongues they can use like a giraffe's tongue to wrap around branches and reach high-up fruits, as fruits and vegetables is all that's in the herbivoric part of their diet. Their carnivorous part, they use their excellent sense of smell to snuff out small creatures beneath the earth, like hares and mice in their dens. They'll also eat carrion, when they get the chance. Now, though they are the size of smallish donkeys as the withers, they have a sort of badger-like structure or body form (Stocky and short-legged, good for burrowing.) and so, they are certainly wider and longer than a donkey. Quite likely, a male would stand 8 feet tall at the top of his head if he stood on his hind feet. Coloration-wise, they are like European badgers in their facial markings, with their tails and the manes that run down their back being black. In a fer variations, they have a white tail-tip. They could also have black 'stockings,' silver 'stockings' (Such as in the picture above), or no stockings at all. The streaks that run over their eyes could also run back down their backs, to their tails, in some variations. The shade of browns and grays can also vary, but the main pelt is always brown or dark-brown (Not light-brown.), and while all other possible patches of white (If the 'silver' stockings are that pale) can possibly be brown. Note that the main pelt can also come in shades of gray, but nothing to light. Their claws are always black and blunt, as shown above. Thakur are calm creatures, with no constant predators, and generally only face such danger as kits, from polar bears. They thus reproduce slowly, only one litter every 3-4 years. However, surprisingly, they have 3 kits per litter. The kits are triplets, almost always the same gender, however they can have very slight differences in appearance, and differences in personality. However, they will all feel the same physical and emotional pain, and the siblings will stick together for life. However, they will not accept any of Thakur into their trio, 'three and only three' seems to be the rule. However, seeing a Thakur will usually die of sorrow and mourn at the death of a sibling, they never live to go looking for a new trio. Mothers raise their young without the assistance of the males, however their sisters will help them. The three mothers and their 9 kits share a den in the mountains. But, as it is with the Thakur, if one kit dies, the other two siblings die after. So, it is almost just the same as caring for 3 kits. Thakur are able to live 50 years in the wild, for their calm and impossible-to-panic nature, but they are very passive, and prefer not to fight. Despite that they could probably kill you, and certainly have enough jaw-strength to do so. In captivity, they can reach 80 years, and this creature is more carnivorous in the snowy winters than in the summer, where as it is then more herbivoric. They are sometimes used as pack-animals, or as slow traveling mounts, but considering they can only run 13 MPH (Wolverines only run 9 MPH, after all.) they are not used in situations where speed it necessary. Culture-wise, mothers name kits who are siblings names all with the same root. If referring to the individual, one will call them by that individual's name. But when referring to all three siblings as a trio, they will only say the root of the name that all three share. Example: Three sisters named Loni, Lona, and Lonu. If referring to all three, you'd say 'Lon.' Of course, names can be more complexed, and the root can be in any part of the name. Of the noises they make - Thakur make a series of various rumbles for general speech, but all their voices are deep-pitched. If they were to ever growl, it might sound 'gurgly,' and for 'long distance calls,' they let out a long, lasting and deep-pitched 'Honk.' Or, some could describe it as a moan, for that is probably what is sounds more like. Oh, and, yes, they do have fangs. They can also swim, but they don't like to, especially if the water is cold. Oh, and they also live on Zienth.
I think that's everything... Well, that closes my super long description, I guess. Note that the Thakur in the picture above is not reaching his tongue out to full extent. He is being lazy.

Poor Bound, she wishes so bad she could could fly like other dragons...
Bound is a necromancer/necrotic dragon, one of my furred dragon species. Note that Necrotic dragons are not actually necrotic, but the explanation is too long for me to bother typing. Anyway... Bound is mute, and crippled in her wings.
This is also a good example of necrotic dragons.

Just another tarvon picture... This one is blue, with circular markings on the wings. And diving down. That's the ocean there, but it's curving because the tarvon is very high up.
I drew a Loriku! I tried to make the majority of the picture dark, so the glow would stand out better. Now for what a Loriku is...

Yet another picture of a tarvon gliding over ocean. But what interesting wing coloration this time!
Look! I drew Olashi! The fierce and cruelly aggressive Olashi, who's name means 'Evergreen.' Here they are blasting icy water over the deck of a ship. The mast is broken, and the sail is in the water, and I don't think the boat is gonna last much longer. But anyway... Tried to give lighting details on the scales.
Just a picture of Opoloa. I forgot the moonlight streaming through the holes in the cave roof... Perhaps I'll fix it later.
As you can see, this is Zearael (AKA, 'Ash.'), and they're setting a bandit's fort ablaze.
Sajara (Sapphire) sleeping on a beach, with a bunch of lazily-drawn palm trees. Again, I tried to show detailed lighting on the scales.
Also, the steam going out her nostrils, is the result of the fact that she spews boiling water instead of breathing fire or something, so instead of smoke, steam rises from her nostrils.
Also, the steam going out her nostrils, is the result of the fact that she spews boiling water instead of breathing fire or something, so instead of smoke, steam rises from her nostrils.
Zaganari and Olashi fighting. Well, more like Zaganari beating up Olashi, and Olashi fleeing. That's how it usually ends up with these two.
Don't worry, Zaganari has eyes... Well, /an/ eye. They're missing the eye on their left side of their face (Which is metallic) as you can see.
Also, they have electricity-producing organs in their mouth, and their teeth and saliva is conductive. So they can spit charged saliva at things to make a ranged, lethally shocking attack.

This one is dubbed, 'Tierce and a thousand chickens.'
The other 990 are off-screen.
Anyway... Here's a picture of Tierce, which I lazily-doodled in, as you can see. Also, one chicken is purposefully drawn wrong, or drawn in a way or showing something a chicken would never show. See if you can find it?

Just some lineart of Opoloa for my little sister. Opoloa is her favorite of my dragons, and she often pretends to be her. Well, my little sister's birthday was celebrated today, so this is my gift to her.
Opoloa likes to swim, and she likes to swim like a swan.
DON'T ANY OF YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE DARE USE IT. IT'S FOR MY YOUNGER SISTER AND HER ALONE. GRRR.

I have no idea.
Just some black winged boar I decided to doodle... Is this the dark side of the phrase 'When Pigs fly?'
Also, no, I don't know what those black puddles off to the side are.
Pssst, super secret note: I actually DO have an idea of what this is. It's an Ebonmere boar, a particular demonic creature on Zienth.

I need to get some Halloween art done before Halloween, for the sake of it.
So, here's a werewolf. This is technically my Terraria character again (Yes, you can be a werewolf in Terraria.) as she has dark blue-grey fur and, in were-wolf form alone, day-blue eyes. Similiarly, my little sister's character has cyan eyes, and light blue-silver fur. However, technically I forgot the wings... So, let's just say it's a werewolf on Zienth, and that moon is Fierken, eh?

Sorta stuff for Halloween, it's that werewolf from before, BUT WITH WINGS.
Technically they were supposed to have wings all along, but I had forgotten them before. Let's just say they were folded to their sides.

My little sister's Terraria character, as a werewolf. Her wings are folded behind her back, and as you can see, she's drawn her claws over a pumpkin, and the juice is now dripping from them. Perhaps she is 'carving' them with her claws.
Call this a sort of commission or request if you want.
The way you tell our two characters apart; her werewolf have cyan wings, cyan eyes, and cyanish-light-silver fur. Mine has day-blue wings, day-blue eyes, and blueish-dark-grey fur. Not a whole lot of difference, but there's difference.

"Don't feed it! Don't feed it! A hundred times, DON'T FEED IT!"
Finally, after so much bad art... Something good! Even though this wasn't next on my list of things to draw. So here you get a blindfolded tarvon, angry and seeking freedom from it's chains, and probably hungry.

Another picture for my little sister's coloring book! Here we have a capricorn for her to color (This may be awfully fun, considering all the different fish and goats out there...) and it's eel companions. Inwhich, eels also come in a great variety.
NO ONE SHALL USE THIS BUT MY YOUNGER SISTER. RAWR.
NO ONE SHALL USE THIS BUT MY YOUNGER SISTER. RAWR.
I had nothing better to do, so I put a whole lot of detail on this one, but there's definitely more I could have done, and ways I could have don things better... He looks alot like a cockatrice, as I've noticed. However, a cockatrice is technically a dragon-snake-chicken with eyes that can turn you to stone, so he might be a cockatrice.
There's too much dang lighting on the scales of the dragonic parts, but it was too late when I noticed... I might have been able to fix it if I had just put it on a different layer, darn it.

just a fun little doodle, I guess. Didn't quite come out as I had seen in my mind...
Black dragon roaring as the sun sets. Who knows why he's so angry; maybe a rival stole his kill?
Black dragon roaring as the sun sets. Who knows why he's so angry; maybe a rival stole his kill?
Just a kirin dancing among a bunch of falling blue meteors.
Anyway. Kirins are pretty cool; they're like horse-dragon-goat-deer... Things. Hence the scaled body and cloven hooves and stuff. Anyway, this is how I draw my kirins, with two-one curved 'horn' that may sometimes glow such as this one.
Let's hope a meteor doesn't fall on their head...
Anyway; what do you people say for those scales? Did I do them well, or should I have made the cyan lighting fainter in the shadows and the shading fainter in the light or something like that?...

I feel like this random werewolf. I get lonely far too easily, far too quickly, and when I'm lonely, it feels severe.
I started drawing last night but didn't finish 'till today. I was particularly lonely when I started drawing, and had the temptation to open up a txt document and write down sentence after sentence what the werewolf was writing on the wall, but thought that that would just be dramatic and over-reacting even if I did delete it in the end. So, I drew this nearly just to write the words on the wall that the werewolf it writing... So, erm... /Hidingawayintheclosetnow
Their tail is between their legs and their ears are pinned down, if one couldn't tell. Their expression is supposed to look fearful. But they don't fit in with the environment at all...

"Do you not realize how long it's been?"
"I shall wait."
"It has been hours. Days. Weeks. Months. Years. Perhaps a century?
"I shall wait."
"And will you wait for eternity for them, little doggy?"
"...I shall wait, as I always have."

But yeah, a character for this werewolf is forming in my brain. I haven't decided their gender yet, but I lean toward 'She.'

And I am confused." -This Random Werewolf

Why do I seem to draw this character when I'm bored? I guess they're just addicting. They're still nameless and genderless though. I'm not sure if I should even bother naming them, maybe they'll remain without one, but I want them to have a gender, of course.
Stuff about them I know: They're cursed or something, stuck in their were-form for... I dunno, eternity. And they're age-immortal. They're actually shocking skinny; supposed to look as if they're starving or something, but their fluffy fur conceals it. They are not blind, despite the eyes. It's easier to describe them as a 'were-dog' than a 'were-wolf,' not because they're actually a dog, but act like one, sorta. They hate being alone, and yet are so, so very often. They are desperate for company. They are loyal, however, to an extreme extent, and if you told them 'Sit here, I'll be right back,' they'd wait years in that one spot for you, hoping some day you'd return. Yes, they are probably insane. But not in a dangerous way. Generally depicted with their tail tucked between their legs, and submissive poses, or perhaps showing fear. They are unusually small for a werewolf.
So. Female or male? Anyone got an answer?
And, about the picture. I decided to merge my two fur tactics together and see how they look; fur lines over fur clumps. How realistic does it seem?

I am really starting to like this little werewolf.
Although they shall remain nameless by official, I might nickname them 'Ghost' just to have something to call them by.

I want to stay so badly...
But why should I, how could I,
If they're so much better than me?" - Ghost
-------------
Doop-boop. It's that werewolf again.
I wanted to draw a green moon. That's the only explanation I am willing to give for this.
Oh, and it's not romantic. Ew. No.

Been a while since I've draw Sightless...
She's a pleasantly easy character to draw, too.
Anyway - No, she is not going to eat the boat. Humans are way too tiny to be food for Sightless, and anyway, she doesn't want to eat things that can speak to her. I mean, already she doesn't like killing things for the sake of eating; she's a very gentle creature, despite appearances. Abyssal sea dragons want love too, ya know.

Not vent art. Vent art is actually fairly rare for me anyway, I generally use other means of expressing stuff.
I was just doodling... I guess this is a tarvon. However, seeing I don't know any that spit lava, much less let it drip from their eyes, I don't know what's going on here. I guess it's not impossible for them to spit lava, since some subspecies of dragon spit lava, but no dragons spit blue lava. Maybe a lava-spitting tarvon and a tarvon who breaths blue fire decided to come together, and this would thus be the result? But that doesn't explain the eye thing.

I spent about 6-7 hours on this, trying out something fancy for the wings. How do they look? I tried to texture each individual feather as I texture fur.
I also put some shiny-ness on them, as well as on the fur. I'm also hoping the bird feet in the picture look realistic wise of anatomy...
Aside from that, this here is Vexen. I seem to have changed his design a bit in this drawing, but he's still a mix of cockatoo and no specific feline, and he still works with tornadoes. As one can obviously see by the big tornadoe in the backround...

Just Sightless again. She seems to be upset about something....
I tried to improve on my water/waves, even though this is only a quick drawing.

Another very quick doodle of Sightless. She needed a more smiley picture after all those frowny ones.
I seem to be more productive than usual today...

I also had this on my to-do list for a while. I thought about going for a more simple, familiar background, but this is what I had imagined. So if it doesn't look so great, it's because it was a bit new.
I imagined on Zienth there'd be this curse; could be on any beast or race, and was inflicted upon the creature's birth. It could generally be passed down genetically, and usually followed genetics with strong magic in them. Griffons, wolves, dragons, people, fish, insects, voidmeres, tigers, some demonic things like gargoyles - You name it, it can be inflicted with the Red Curse.
Now for what this curse is. It's quite simple - The creature shall suffer physical pains in accordance to the emotional pains. Now, some emotions do actually give physical pains, but not all. This curse makes it so that the slightest emotional pain can trigger a physical one, and the physical one fits more to a metamorphic pain, not what would scientifically be the affect. For example; desire is sometimes compared to being 'burning.' Thus, some creature suffering envy for some other kind of strong desire, might feel a burning sensation, as if on fire, and burn scars may appear and fade as the desire does. The curse will never kill, and when it is taking effect, red mist flows out of the eyes and mouth. The more extreme the emotional pain, the more extreme is the physical pain, and so the more mist flows. If only a small emotional pain - Like frustration that someone cut in line in front of you - The will feel less physical pain, and less mist will appear. That amount of mist would be more like a single huff - The amount of white you see appear on your breath on a cold morning, instead turned red.
The poor griffon above is suffering something rather serious, it seems. Perhaps it is mourn? There's certainly a lot of mist, and that's only the beginnings of the mist. It seems they have the sensation of being choked, or gagging; could also relate to being hard on themselves, or self-esteem problems...

A gift for my friend in return for all of the ones she has given me.
T'is Exxy, in their werewolf form...
After all this time not drawing, I think I've gotten rusty! I mean, I know that I didn't put as much detail as I could have in the backround, but I put more of my work into Exxy there. I think the fur looks of less quality than usual.

I tried to draw Exxy's feathered-dragon-thinger (Can't spell the name.) form, but I started on this before she gave me explaination about how exactly they looked...
So, I guess this isn't them. I've been working on this VERY slowly, but hey, I got some art done!
Anything on this page of the blog is here because you could find something like it, of it's nature, or it, on Zienth itself.
