More recent at the top, and it gets older as you go down.
WOO I THINK I'M IMPROVING.
Of course, I wouldn't have been able to do this without my mother sitting by and guiding me in anatomy. I fail so much at humans.
Anyway. I think Jahklin might look like this if she took on human form. Basically, I translated her FH markings onto a human face, and ta-da.
I think, as a human, her genetic makeup is probably Irish, German, Scottish, and AFRICAN. Because African people are so awesome and look so cool. B3
In all Jahklin's forms, she is a small specimen, so we can assume she stands around 4'11" to 5'0".

This is the following flash-back for that picture of Loaxi I did not long ago.
If I had to have favorite here, it would have to be the one on the right.
No, I can't tell you what this is about or what's going on.

Loaxi. Walking across some burned-down, ashy terrain...
No, I won't tell you what she's doing. 8P
Aaaaand I didn't show nearly enough definition between the line defining her muzzle and stuff... And her body is too wide, and I forgot her ear-fins. Hurrr.

A protective caribou, perhaps a older sibling or maybe a parent, stands over two calves*.
Well, this picture certainly too me a while, I guess. Though, I think I'm satisfied with the result, mostly.
Anyway, this was partially a fur-practice, as I tried to do clump in a more line-like way, and then did lines where there was shorter fur.
Anyone else think Caribou need more love?...
*Obviously one of them isn't a calf. But they're trying.

I believe Jahklin has chambered up the bamboo stalk a little too high for her liking.
Anyway. I finally remembered to put on her chains and shackles this time. So here's a Jahkllin-panda.

My final entry to 's contest, of her two flamboyant betta fish dragon characters, Mars and Aurora. (Mars is the purple one, Aurora is the lavender one.)
The only description I got was that Mars was a betta-fish dragon and Aurora was their counterpart, but I simply couldn't resist these two... A love for both betta fish and dragons, I guess.

Tried something new for once, but it took FOREVER; animated psychedelic.
Pencil, the animation program, butchered the quality here. BL
Another thingy for that person's contest.

I really needed to pay some attention to poor Loaxi, who I haven't drawn in a long time... For the one person who knows who she is, you finally get to see her in color!
My wrist hurts from drawing scales, and lighting and shading them, and I sat down and work 8-7 hours strait to finish this... I guess that's not necessarily anything unusual for me.
By the time I got the the background I was dead... But do the scales look any better than usual?

I love jellyfish too much.
I hope I got those waves right, though...

A picture of Naumi, everyone's favorite shapeshifter. (Ok, maybe not everyone's favorite, but... She's probably the only shapeshifter in the story, so there. )
This is what I was drawing in the livestream.
This is what I was drawing in the livestream.
This came out far more dramatic than expected.
But anyway. The eyes and tongue should make it obvious who this is, but the shading and fur hide the markings...
I decided to use my old fur tactic. Which looks better? The shaded clumps or the fur I did here?

This is about as justifyable as my other thing I made, but also related...
This is a depiction of what happened to my brain here: Roar goes the Lion XD
So yeah. Brain shooting out into space, flying on it's little 'brain wings,', flaming.

More fur practice.
And I totally messed it up. This character was supposed to look soft, like a soft pillow or blanket, but instead I got them looking ragged and shaggy. DX
Here's another entry for that person's contest, I guess. A doodle of her character, Sleep.
I thought about putting a moon and stars in the backround, but then decided it looked better without them.
This is also the picture I was doing in the livestream.

Well, dang. This was supposed to be to practice wolf facial anatomy, but MAN, I totally messed up on that bottom jaw!
This was also supposed to be to practice a new way of doing fur, but... The fact that the werewolfie here is white made it a bit confusing. I should have made the base color slightly darker.
This started out as a sort of present for you, Hug, of your skyrim character Arkthur in werewolf form, but... /FaceDesk/ IHaveFailedYou.
Yay for random gifts everywhere, though?

I was supposed to have drawn this yesterday, but... I was doing other things. Like watching sea turtles return to the sea.
Here we have, giant shrimp swimming in the sky, as two children (Older sister and little brother) watch and wave.

Larry the Bottlenose doesn't look too happy about being a 823654'th dimension dolphin, who of course have their rostrums split in half in order to catch particular prey...
Or maybe it's because the pores of the split seem to be oozing strawberry jam.
----------------
Here we have, obviously, a psychedelic dolphin with the rostrum (The muzzle-like maw of a dolphin) has been split in two, resulting in what now looks perhaps more like four manidbles instead of 2. The open part of the flesh, the part 'bleeding strawberry jam' that is of a violet hue is where it was split, the purple is the mouth interior, and the teeth are green. They're also sharp... I always though dolphin teeth looked for of sharp, even though only deigned for fish-catching. I would not want to be bit by a dolphin. Muuuuuuch less an orca, those things could kill!... Well, I guess technically, most dolphins could drown you, but... That doesn't mean they want to, of course. Though, they are capable of such spite.
Anyway. Dolphin anatomy is pretty dang hard, but I think I did OK.
If you think I should put the 'mature content' warning thing on, in case the strawberry jam looks too much like blood or if everything is just somehow too graphic, please tell me.

I was so worried I'd butcher poor Exxy trying to draw him, being so horrid with humans as I am... But you know what, I think I did OK!
Anyway. Hug, being the only one to answer my mini contest-challenge-thing in question 6 of this journal (Sorry... TAGGED.) here's your prize. The answer was actually 42, but being the only one to really 'enter,' that makes your guess the closest. I also needed to give you some other gift other than colorful thresher sharks...
Anyway. Exxy in his dream world thing (Backround based off of the such in this picture of your's, Hug: Survival ) sitting on the edge of a cliff, letting a hang-gliding opossum land on his finger. Yay for hang-gliding opossoms~ I think I got his scar right, and you have to look close to see the purple in his eye...

This is the un-winged version.
Here is my part of an art-trade with a friend of her character, Caroline. And the fur took FOREVER. I used 5 layers just on the fur. But oh well.

It found a contest, said 'hey, this looks fun!' and decided to try. I don't really expect to win, I'm sure someone in the contest must draw better and more creatively than I, but I don't enter compititions expecting to win. I enter expecting to loose. That way, I guess I always have some fun, and don't get upset at not winning... One of the things that encouraged me to join, though, is that /if/ I win, I shall have many gifts to give to friends, considering the many prizes for multiple places.
Anyway. This particular water-dog, Pier, caught my eye as I looked through my list of options. Of course, I love sharks and snakes (Aquatic ones even more because they're unique. My favorite is the banded sea krait/snake) he was perfect. cinnabutt.weebly.com/pier.html
I hope the shading doesn't make it too hard to see his markings. Oh, and I got another fur-shading techinque doing this one! Woo-hoo! But yeah, whatever the case, (Insert the owner of the character here.), do what you want with this, aside claiming you made it.
Later note: I didn't upload this 'til things had been decided, I didn't win, not even with the multiple entries I submitted. Not that I didn't expect such.

The finished collab with Hug?
Obviously canyons need crocodiles to chamber about their walls. Here we see, a canyon crocodile, doing a bit of climbing.
This one may not be as impressive as our first collab with the jackalope, Hug, but it's still pretty good, I think. I probably could have put more detail on my crocodile, as in lighting each individual scale, but it seemed as if that would make him too bright, so I refrained...
This is what Hug herself originally did for the collab: The Grand Canyon
Backround, awesome misty clouds, all 'dat stuff (c) Hugrf
The crocodile and that bush (c) Me

Anyway. Big black drum about to eat some shrimp. Sorta a gift to my father, who loves to fish, but also whom loves fish themselves and holds an admiration and respect for them as well.

"I created it!" "NO, I did!" "Your both wrong, it was me!"
This was inspired by conversation with a friend.
Only we shall understand the joke here, hue hue hue~ Unless I explain it to someone, it is...
Okie. So, we have four casual business men in the picture, and three Lackadaisy characters, which are basically also business men and thus also count... I knew one of them HAD to be upside down, because it's space, and Mordecai was the unlucky one picked for this. Upside down or not, he still seems to be pointing his gun at Rocky, whom is biting his lip as usual... Viktor's hand is reaching out for him from the side lines, but I'm sure we can all assume that this is not to save him from Mordecai; Probably for pummeling. Also, a spork has been flung at Mordecai, as one can see it spinning towards him and about to collide... He doesn't yet seem aware. The Lackadaisy characters were very hard to draw, because I had to study their designs closely to be able to draw them well enough, so that one would be able to tell it was them. I hope I have done your characters justice wise of their appearance, Tracy. (The person who does Lackadaisy...)
As for why they'd be fighting in space... Well, I know Viktor seems to just downright dislike Rocky, and Mordecai has already proven that he doesn't need desperate reasons to point a gun.
Up in the corner there, is Hug's (Yes, I call my friend 'Hug,' in accordance to her username.) character, Dark. Or basically her fursona, whom was also in the fun... I hope I drew her/you correctly and not in a humiliating way, Hug. I can be really bad with human anatomy. XP As you can see, she's flailing~
And very faintly (Because they're supposed to be invisible.) is Yvahah. Or, the top of his head anyway. I know, I know, I should have draw Antoine, there's a perfect spot for him in the upper left corner, but I was pretty tired of this thing at this point, and had no idea how he looked, or how to have him pose... I didn't put as much work into this as usual, because I didn't feel I needed it to get the humor across.

Another drawing/landscape from a dream... Man, I'm bad at landscape stuff.
Well, anyway, I finished this last night but didn't submit it until now. I guess you could say it's in the same 'world' as the blood-canyons... Can you spot the human? Hint: Look near the bottom/base of the tower.
The Dark Tower is so named because of the shockingly dark-hued stone used to build it. In mythology, heroes have climbed it, but no known person has actually reached the top. Not that the top can be seen... Over the thousands of years the tower has stood tall, it's makers utterly unknown, it as crumbled. Hollow on the inside with steps spiraling upwards to the top, these steps, the walls, the rooms in the walls that make 'stops' among the stairs... Have all crumbled away in various places. But it is fabled, that at the top, the rooms hold significance, and are furnished. Various deities of snow, ice, water, rain, storms, blizzards, flurries, glaciers, monsoons, and more, are said to occupy the rooms and the great banquet halls. In the stories of myth, brave heroes would climb to the top of the tower, perhaps to ask the deities to stop blizzards they started, that happened to be killing the hero's village near the tower, or the like...

I wanted to draw a seagull and green lightning. Nuff' said.
But, this took a shorter amount of time than I expected... I guess I could have tried to stuff more detail in some places, and it all sorta looks somewhat flat to me, but oh well, I guess. I used a different texturing technique on each wing, trying to figure out which looks better...

For once, I actually have reasons for this sort of doodle:
(1) Father Time obviously should be a moose.
(2) Moose are awesome. I don't think there's enough pictures of meese out there.
Aside from all that... Drawing this took FOREVER. I started trying a different sort of way of doing fur, but it didn't quite work out as I had seen it working for others, and I ended up switching back to my usual way of doing fur... I hope you people like it, though. Oh, and, those are silver and gold watches hanging on his antler twines, if you weren't aware.

Man, I haven't updated in a while. Sorry, I was stubbornly determined for Gibby to see his christmas present, I didn't intend to update until he did.
An early birthday preset for a friend.
At least I got the purple eye on the right side this time!
Anyway. Supposedly, he's being protective of someone/something and is about to charge down onto whatever it is that is threatening the loved one. 'Whatever it is' better be prepared for a whipping tail in addition to the razor-sharp saw-like teeth.

To make up for my lack of drawing yesterday, but also my late Christmas gift to Gibby.
It's his character, Louis, in wolf form. Obviously in a foggy field by night. He's definitely growling/being aggressive at something, but not exactly sure what.
Note to Gibby: If your reading this/found this here, then yay! You didn't seem as if you'd give a suggestion for a drawing for me to draw for you, but I wasn't about to let you go without getting a Christmas present from me... So I made a guess. The teeth are accidentally too big (I'm far too used to doing the ferocious, terrifying teeth of spotted hyenas... Murh... ) but aside from that, I think I did Louis well. I was determined to give you a christmas gift, so here it is. ^^

Because there needed to be a picture rainbow-y-jackalope in this world.
I had a lot of fun with the 'splashing' color. As if it's jumping into a rainbow-y-puddle.

Another drawing for my younger sisters to color. Armored war-aardvarks. I left out the humans it might be battling because I didn't feel they needed such violence.
NONE MAY USE THIS ASIDE FROM MY YOUNGER SIBLINGS. RAWR.

My Christmas gift to Hugrf!
It's... Yet another psychedelic version of Exxy's thresher shark form... Murh... Should I try and draw you a better Christmas gift, Hug?
Well, I hope you like it.

The second picture drawn for my younger siblings. Waskavash and his friends/peers Christmas-caroling... Yeah, I know, wolves don't carol, and if they did, they probably wouldn't even know that exact song (Away in a Manger) but it's a picture draw for little girls, so... Yeah. And no. Waskavash did not remove his hat. If I know Waskavash (And I assume I do, I am his creator...) then he won't take that hat off for weeks.
Seconds later, Raganag is gonna snap at them about how much noise they're making...

One of the pictures I'm drawing as Christmas presents to my younger sisters. They loved the Waskavash stories so much, I though a few humorous Christmas-themed drawings of him and some of the wolves would be a fitting present. Don't worry, I'm getting them more than just drawings.
He's happily looking up at his hat at the moment, but in reality, being a hyena, he'd be freezing his tail off... I hope he looks fuzzy enough in this picture, though. Does he look fuzzy?

Man, this took me forever... Perhaps it didn't come out exactly as planned, but I'm happy with it. Each satyr has a wooden mask, and the eye/mouth holes for each are made with a different shape, each mask has differently colored paint, and each satyr has a breed of goat they resemble. Here's the satyrs from left to right: (Ex: #OfSatyr - Breed - Shape of mask eye/mouth holes - color of paint on mask - Gender - Extras )
1. Barbado sheep - Squares - Cyan - Male - Has a little golden trinket hanging on one horn
2. Angora (Dark grey) - Circles - Indigo/violet/puprle? - Male - Has three indigo bands painted on one horn and two on his spear
3. Spanish goat - Ovals - Gold/yellow - Male - Has a trinket on each horn and is using his spear as a walking-stick. Also has a beard.
4. Dapple boer goat - Cresents - Red - Female - Has a little red flower in her hair
5. Angora (White with brown patches, makes me think of a toasted marshmellow.) - Triangles - Green - Female - Has a gold band on one horn, and vines wound about her spear.
6. Pygmy goat - Some sort of pointed shape - Magenta - Female - Has no horns, is usually small, and has three gold/yellow bands painted on her spear.
So there's my 6 masked satyrs, which are likely inspired by my big brother's drawing of a masked satyr... I wonder if they've got those spears because they're going to war?

Simple, drafty concept for a world I've been thinking of... These are the 'blood canyons,' canyons red as, supposedly, blood. But in this scene, it's these canyons by sunset. Anyway, the canyons are so very red due to large among of iron (And thus, rust.) in their earth. Why so much iron, that it might be red as blood, you ask? Well, long ago, a city of some ancient civilization clung to the canyon walls, mining out huge deposits of iron from the earth and mountains not far off... Everything they had, even the walls of their homes, seemed to be iron. When the civilization fell to ruins, their building's remains began to rust, much of the enormous city now reduced to red dust. Some rusted, still-deteriorating shards, ruins, and remains can be found scattered about the blood-canyons...
This was probably one of the fastest drawings I've ever done.

Jassier sometimes wonders if all krotite hands can do, is blast things to bits. But I bet you she could create things... Just never gets the chance, being drafted for war and trained to act like a stoic, robotic-like drone of a common foot-solider.
This, I am certain, is the LAST of the Jassier-art currently on my to-do list. Sorry for drowning you in it.
As you can see, I decided to practice lineless art... Not sure how it came out, but oh-well. Her hair is sort of all-over-the-place and tangled, as you can see... Seeing as Jassier is underwater, and my hair acts like that underwater, I bet a krotite's does too.

A quick doodle...
It was inspired by conversation with a friend, it's one of my hens, Grace.
And she's vicious.
Aside from all that: MAN am I terrible at skulls!

A ying-yang themed picture featuring betta fish highlighted in blues and greens. Are they circling each other harmoniously, or about to try to kill each other?...
Aside from that; is this wretchedly long art-block finally leaving?.... Yes.... YES..... YESS!!! I think, anyway.
The highlight shows so much better on the black betta fish than the white.

Yes, I know, I should be doing homeschool and drawing the next page of World of Soap (Certain comic I'm working on.) instead of doodling giant roosters... I've been having some pretty bad art-block recently, though.
Another one of my big brother's pictures colored.
Here's the original: Satyr

Are they iron blindfolds, or steel?... I didn't know, but I guess iron rusts faster, and they were rusty.

"Now give me back my staff!"
A very quick doodle (Technically not that quick, seeing it took me 3 HOURSSS.... ) or in other words lazy drawing of a character I made for my big brother's roleplay game. This is Rashaka, and she's a konamba... They're sorta like maned wolf-people, and are somewhat primitive. Rashaka is a young druid, or in other words, a mage who works with nature and animals. She's still learning, though... Druids do things along the lines of talking to animals, befriending them, turning into some, makin' da plants grow... Nature-stuff and the like.
But at the start of things, Rashaka will be a chicken. Why? Some rival turned her into one, and now she's trying to get the scared Chicken Stone to break the curse, but that stone is in the dungeon-tower-thing-of-doom... But that's not the problem. You see, at the door of the dungeon-tower-thing-of-doom... Is a doorknob, obviously. And as a chicken, Rashaka doesn't have opposable thumbs. Luckily, this is where she's supposed to meet another, not-chicken character who DOES have opposable thumbs, who is seeking the treasure in the dungeon-tower-thing-of-doom, that's in the same chamber as the sacred Chicken Stone. Or something like that.

I doodled this super lazy man-o-war jellyfish last night, but didn't get to upload it until now. These guys sometimes turn our beaches blue from massive strandings of them... I wonder what causes it, these thousands of man-o-wars washing up on our beaches?

Another picture of Jassier. I have at least one more of 'em on my list of things to draw... This was half-hearted and lazy.
The thing she's fighting there is one of the races the krotites destroyed, and they can 'telepathically' move rocks, stones, or especially magnetic things. You can see him defending himself as he hurls some rocks at Jassier, but she'll probably just use one as leverage to haul herself out of the range of the other... Thus the two would collide and she'd have the time to dive on her opponent with her spear.
You can also see her baring her silvery fangs. Also, she's pointing, not stabbing, with her spear. At the moment, anyway.

Scribbled in a random backround for this one; African terrain, as I hope you can see, with a magenta river and pink-red sun. Also a blue termite mound.
Yes I know the hyena is badly drawn.

Finally! A picture for Waskavash. Not a good one, though... The shadows cover his face n' all.
Perhaps too much lighting on a certain degree, but I decided to try something a bit different this time, with the perspective and all.
Foals (Or anyone, for that matter) should run when Randomness gives them this grin.
Foals (Or anyone, for that matter) should run when Randomness gives them this grin.
I decided to draw a picture of Okami. I see some pictures depicting her fiercer, so I decided to show how she's also very 'connected' with the wildlife and how it becomes peaceful near her, knowing she's a god n' all... See how even a little sparrow can sit atop a tiger's face without being swallowed whole.
Supposedly, she is in the bamboo garden of Sasa sanctuary, with the 'Infinity Judge' reflector as her main 'weapon' equipped. No, this is not where I am in the game; I've played that game from beginning to end many, many times.
Sorta a lazy picture, perhaps you'll see a fiercer one some other time.

My older brother now~ He actually has a DeviantArt account, however usually goes about his tumblr thing...
I though a blind cave salamander, or maybe a Mexican salamander/axolotl would be perfect for him.
Yes, I know, he's got crazy long hair for a guy. But he's proud of it. I think he should be, too, and I'll snarl debate at anyone who remarks unkindly about it. ^^
If your wondering if I'll draw myself... Maybe, maybe-not. It depends on whether some family member will come and help me. Preferably my mother.

My younger sister, older than May, this is Lily. The two are only a year a part, though; 'Irish Twins.'
She is a cheetah because we saw it as fitting to her personality.
She is a cheetah because we saw it as fitting to her personality.
I wanted to draw my youngest sister, May. But, I didn't want a bunch of internet people knowing how she looked (Nor did I want to humiliate her with my awful human-face-drawing-skill) so I drew her as an anthro-animorphized African wild dog, with her directing me. I salvaged as many features unique to her in particular as I could. I drew her wearing her current attire, with a few changes that she requested.
We choose an African wild dog because it best fit her personality.

I like jellyfish. Thus, I just had to make a psychedelic one!
Another picture of Jassier; but this time she has her helmet off. How does she hide so much hair under it? Magic.
The energy temple had stone carvings of, perhaps krotite, faces snarling down and baring fangs at those who passed through the halls. Here you see some of those carvings.
Also, I've always draw her with an energy bolt in hand... Perhaps someday I'll draw her without it, but Jassier is mistrustful and, at times, paranoid. It seems fitting that she be shown ready to fight, as she almost always is.

It's the base of our pumpkin carving this year. I had the privilege of drawing it, with my younger sister's direction. Basically, I'll print it out and press it to the pumpkin, and then carve out the areas filled in black. Thus, these areas will glow with the light inside the pumpkin.
As the name says, it's a hyena.

It didn't come out as hoped... But from my narration of my fishing trip, this is what that shark's eye with the amazing eye looked like. Sorta.
It was supposed to look more 'crystalline,' and the dark streaks should be darker, and everything else lighter.

I was too excited to do this. Couldn't wait.
This is a collaboration I did with a friend. They didn't mind, but I made the line of light on their cliff a bit more focused and brighter.
I don't draw rabbits too well, as it turns out... But I tried! Anyway, this is the mythical jackalope, watching the sun set.

An African wild dog with random wings, oddly in black-and-white color... Carrying some green-flaming signal, it seems.
I saw a picture of a black-and-white griffon that looked like a black-and-white African wild dog at a distance, but then I saw it was a griffon, and though, 'well that's a shame, it would be cool if someone drew a black-and-white African wild dog with wings!' So here is one.

Black-comb, the last of the mythical roosters that has told me about, guardian of the gates of Hel (Not a typo, that's the name of the Norse mythological underworld. Hel, the world of eternal gloom.). It was suggested that he be a naked-neck, which seemed very fitting.
I loved doing those glowy-runes...
I loved doing those glowy-runes...
Another rooster of Norse mythology that a friend told me about, this is Ruddy-Comb. He was a fierce rooster who was supposed to contend with the giants. I had no idea how the land of the giants would look, so here he is crowing up on some high mountain perch. May all those giant below hear him and fear!
The other roosters are not crowing, so I guess that means it is still not the apocalypse, right?

Meh, I was just messing around... This is the result.
A krotite (Or so I tried!) and not Jassier for once. His helmet is off, and the energy ended up looking like fire... Doodled random hair 'cause I felt like it. Sorta based off this art of the Krotites, from the game Aquaria that they originated from: http://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111230020039/aquaria/images/5/5a/Krotites.png
The fangs aren't as silvery was I wanted them to look, likely due to the lighting. Krotite fangs are silver.
Late-night drawings like this always turn out funny-looking...

A friend told me about some roosters of Myth, and I decided I wanted to draw them.
This is the first, dubbed 'Gold-Comb,' (But his comb isn't gold?...) drawn according to the description given. His feathers are as radiant and as shimmery as I could make them. This guy stands outside Asgard, the realm of the gods that protect mankind. When the three roosters crow, Gold-comb, Ruddy-comb, and Black-comb, the world is said to end or something.
Ruddy-comb is next, and then Black-comb.

Has anyone here ever played the game 'Aquaria?'
I'm sure you recognize the Krotites if you have.
Anyway... This is sort of humanoid practice. Also, this is a picture of Jassier, for those who know who she is.
Also, I messed up; her hips should be a slight, tad bit wider, I think.

Because scorpions need more love. And no, I don't mean as in 'I think scorpions are cool,' plenty of people 'love' them in that way. I mean, it's not bad to think they're cool, but most people who might draw an exaggeratedly fierce scorpion or keep such a character are only admiring a supposed danger, and scorpions CAN be dangerous. However, I know few to none who actually go and do research, and only scientifically is it mentioned that the mothers protect and watch over their young. There are many species of scorpion, and though I don't know them all, I bet you some species is endangered out there, probably due to destruction of habitat. When I say they need more love, I think of how we love dolphins, or elephants - We need to draw more pictures showing them gracefully or elegantly, or just pretty-look, and we need to write more poems describing their other likable features besides deadly venom, and to write more stories that have a scorpion as the main character (Not that there are many like that out there), and we need to try to preserve those that are endangered.
So, here is a hopefully correctly drawn scorpion, looking colorful and pretty. There actually are some colorful species of scorpion, though. So yeah... Go win some true scorpion-lovers, Henry the colorful scorpion!

Line art for my little sister to color, part of her birthday present.
In the Amazon rainforests, near the rivers, the forests often flood. Amazon river dolphins often use this opportunity to hunt fish that hide in the flooded shrubbery and among the tree roots and such, and so forest ground which is usually more 'dry' becomes like a forest growing in a shallow lake. Here, is a jaguar, stranded on a high-arching root as the 'tides' rise.
No one out there is permitted to use or color this but my little sister, SO STAY BACK. GRRR.

Well, another to the 'Armored war-beast' series... Well, I do have more armored war-beasts on my to-do list to do, but I may-or-may-not do them, so I don't thing I can call it a 'series.'
I don't think this came out as well as the armored war-chickens, though.
Maaaaaan, I'm horrible at drawing humans... But that's because I didn't try on these guys, I guess.

Not angry at all, people. I've only actually done something CLOSE to vent-art once. For the most part, my current emotions cannot be found in my drawings. Look in my poems if you want current emotion, and even then, it's only the poems that came without plan and were made on split-second inspiration.
I just wanted to draw a psychedelic dragon breathing rainbow fire... But I messed up on the fire.

I haven't been able to edit anything recently because it's all in Spanish... So sorry for the inactivity. IT'S STILL IN SPANISH, THOUGH. DX Heeeeelpppp meeeee... I don't know spanish, and my spanish-speaking aunt, uncle, and cousins live about a 3-hour-drive-away.
Anyway; This here didn't come out exactly how I expected... But oh well.
I suggested this idea to a friend for their own psychedelic thing, but they chose something else, so I decided to do this one myself.

A picture of my Terraria character that came to mind.
As you can see, she's standing on the dungeon, supposedly by twilight. She's blown one of her feathers off into the breeze, perhaps hoping someone special will receive it? I dunno.
I was supposed to be doing a comic, but oh well.
But I've improved on human anatomy, yay! But those wings...
Also, the difference between me and my sister's Terraria characters: She has cyan marking on her helmet and her wings are cyan, while my character's are a more day-blue.

My mother wanted me to draw something off a real picture... So here.
It's a Komodo dragon, and I thought it looked indignant in the picture I drew off of.
I spent 4 hours on that komodo dragon... 4 HOURS. But here's my reference: bohemiantraveler.com/wp-conten…
As you can see, I was lazy with the backround. I finished the dragon, and then I was tired and just doodled in a beach. The individual scales were torturous...

ARMORED WAR CHICKENS. Vikings riding giant armored chickens on the battle field. Yup.
I was working on this last night, but didn't finish it until today.
It's loaded with details as you can see... But I'm very proud of it.

I colored one o my big brother's sketches. With many of them, I can 'see' color to them in my head, and here I have colored one, so you people may know what colors I see? Also to be kind to my brother and color one of his sketches, he always likes that.

A komodo dragon. The title is, 'Take them away.' But who is it begging to take what away? I can't tell you, actually. Not that I don't know...
Call this a request/commission if you want. I drew this for my little sister, it's her Terraria character. Our two characters look very similar, but where mine has sky-blue dye, her's has cyan. Same coloration differences with our wings.
Anyway, here she is on her first solar eclipse, killin' a vampire. I drew the vampire weird... Well, I'm not too amazing at humans anyway. But I like my anatomy on the wings!

...I have nothing to say, accept that these pineapples are 8 feet tall, and like to eat carrion. And that they live on Drawkwa, of course.
Two Bone stags fighting. The one on the left is loosing... I named this one 'Beneath the Hunger Moon.'
Presenting the Bone Deer.
Note that they are not skeletal deer.
This species is furless, with only soft, dark blue-grey, gunmetal grey, or black skin. They skin, though, is seemingly elastic - Extremely stretchy and flexible, like a rubber band, and exceedingly difficult to rip or tear. However, they are astonishingly agile and flexible themselves, able to twist around in their out skin. The skin itself remain close to their bodies like a suit, though, until stretched, though it's not attached as to where they can twist in it and squirm out of nearly any hold. They also have a bone plate, like a white mask, over their face. Some suggests it is true bone, but it's much harder than just bone. And if you tried to pull it off, it's more likely you'd decapitate the poor animal then remove the plate. Not saying decapitating them is very easy, either... No body has ever seen them actually eat anything, but looking at their fang-filled mouths, it is suggested they are carnivorous. They also don't seem to have nostrils, or perhaps their 'mask' covers them, but researchers have also suggested that the smell like snakes do, in the way that they have forked tongues. The antlers of stags bend low below their chins, and then branch out forward, if that can be imagined. Antlers are also an ivory-white color. They have long, long tails, that if they stretched their neck as forward as the could, and stretched their tail forward, then their tail would go just a little past their nose. They have large, triangular, fox-like ears with feathers at the tips, and they also have an amount of white feathers that tip their tails, which fan out at certain emotions. Anger or aggression might cause them to fan, but so would lust. They can also jump incredible lengths and heights - 15 feet high, and 30 feet forward. Apparently, they are content with climbing, for they have been seen standing on the black branches of the trees of their home forests. They have small, cloven hooves (For small hooves make for better climbing), and their long tails helps them keep their balance in their incredible jumps, or standing on tree branches. Despite how they look all skin-and-bone, they actually carry considerable strength, to be able to jump so very high into the air. A well-placed kick could send a tiger tumbling back, not to mention their hooves as hard as the mythical metal Ebony. Bone Deer are also lacking vocal cords, but you don't really need vocal cords to hiss - And so, they can and do hiss, like snakes, as a threat. They don't seem to live in herds, for they're almost always found alone, accept when two stags are fighting.
Ok, I think that brings the description to a close.

I titled it 'Break the chains,' because this is when Bess and Boss first broke their chains and escaped. And here they are breaking out the window, with glass flying everywhere. Yes, the glass probably hurts, but hyenas face lions in the wild, which I'm sure lion claws and fangs are far more painful. Not to mention, these two have been chewed up by dogs, the poor things, so the pain of glass is a small price to pay for freedom.
Ughhh, this took me FOREVER. Or maybe I was just impatient, because I was.
Anyway... Just Zanari fighting her regrets with random scenery behind her.
If you want to know what's with the two sad-looking characters lately, it's the World of Goo soundtrack I've been listening to. Some of it is a bit sad-sounding.

Poor sad, sad Jehose...
He needs a hug.
But anyway, this is after he was thrown out of the herd, and her he is wandering near a canyon ledge. Currently, he seems to be mourning the death of Vayce...
Also, his ears are down, so it's hard to see them.
(For those unfamiliar with my story plot, 'On the Gongoyeli Prairie,' this is the main character.)

I think I got the sheen that black australorps have, though. Inwhich, Auski is an Australorp.

I'm not saying there was ever such a thing - I actually looked into the prehistoric roots of the hyena, and while there was many interesting prehistoric hyenas, including a super huge species (Pachycrocuta/Pachycrocuta brevirostris), there were no saber-toothed species that I recall. This was just for fun.
Anyway - Saber-toothed Pachycrocuta brevirostris VS Some sort of saber-toothed cat! I betcha the hyena will win, those things are vicious, even without saber-teeth.
Oh, also, I looked at hyena teeth anatomy instead of following my basic 'Carnivorous teeth anatomy,'; turns out, they have different teeth. More fangs, and sharper/pointier fangs. Their teeth are far more scary than that of a dog's or feline's... Hippos and abyssal fish beat them as far as scary teeth go, though. But anyway - What could possibly make 'dem teeth scarier, than making it a saber-toothed hyena, eh?
...Why do I want to draw a top hat on that hyena?...

My mother had a dream where me and her were walking on a beach, and a huge vulture came down and drank from the sea. She suggested I draw it, and I liked the idea, so I put it on my 'things to draw' list... So, this is yet another picture I have done for my mother. But, That's why I called this one, 'In Thy Dreams.' Originally I had a sunnier sky, and then I decided a cloudy one would be better. No, that is not a depiction of me and my mother on the beach, those two little people there - Those are some other people, a mother and her little girl.
It's based off a turkey vulture... I tried to get the greeny-blue gleam on the feathers right... And, I probably got the head too big.

I'm proud of this...
It's the Israelites, crossing the red sea.
I think that's a sort of pleiosaur(Sp?) there. Or, a Elamosaurus(Sp?) more likely.
So anyway, aquatic dino with playful young Megalodon shark swimming around it. There.
I really like it's head which is poking out of the water, and the water itself, as well as the Israelites crossing. the sea.
I get that humans and dinosaurs didn't live at the same time. Just an idea for a picture.

I have absolutely no explanation behind this.
But I do know that google wasn't working, so I had no references to draw these cobras with. So, they're sorta... Bad.
They also would have looked better if I drew each individual scale on the body and lighted it accordingly, but I was lazy.
The lack of reference is also why the one with color is not likely realistically colored.

Meh... I'll explain this character some other day. But, at least I can tell you, he's a pitbull-wolf hybrid. However, though he thought his missing tail was a birth defect, it was actually torn off by his abusive father at a very young age, so he doesn't remember. The poor guy was teased terribly for his lack of tail, though.
And, yeah, I exaggerated his claws. For the fun of it. And the fiery backround? I don't know, just felt like drawin' fire.

I've really been slacking lately... I was supposed to do a comic page today, but I guess I'll have to to it tomorrow. This is the second time I've been late with my comics, too...
But, yay for capybaras! As, this is the creature featured here. World's largest rodent, ya'know? I got the water lighting all wrong, but I'm proud of the capybara's fur, as this was a fur practice.
I also have a storyline featuring capybaras as the main characters running about in my head...

Finally, I stopped being lazy and drew something. At first, I had no idea what animal would be tied to kites and flying, I was thinking something canine. But it turned out as a hyena.
I failed on that cloud there.
I failed on that cloud there.
The thing that caused me not to make another picture yesterday...
This rooster took me FOREVER. Not to mention my low inspiration for him... My mother was excited about seeing a psychedelic rooster, though, and so I finished it for her.
But now it's Sunday, and I have a comic page to write... And yet, this rooster took up so much of my timmmmeee...
I don't know what I'm going to do. I still have so much I have to finish before this day's end.

Just got an idea in my head, and couldn't get it out...
I guess I could call this a sort of 'creepy' psychedelic, however I think I'm a bit off with the 'blood' here. Not the best with drawing blood in the first place, anyway.
Also note that the rainbow substance is also being wept from the eyes, and dribbling out the mouth.
The canine species I drew, is none particular. I looked at maned wolves though, so I guess that's close enough.

Just messing aroouuud...
Some random kitsune flying around in the sky with white mist flowing from his paws or something. I dunno.
I really like his tail and the moon, though.

Fly, Kalufekt, fly!
I really enjoyed narrating this part of his story, it was so dramatic.
Also, people, this is not a phoenix, this is an Egyptian vulture, a critically endangered species of vulture. I really like vultures, though, and this is one of my favorite species.

Just some random gecko with psychedelic eyes... Those scales were torturous.
I am officially at least 1 minute late for this to be my 'drawing of the day.'

A psychedelic thresher shark. It seems to not contain the same amount of detail as usual... Or maybe I'm just imagining it.
Just some psychedelic angler fish...
Just drawing some random spirit-jaguar-thing.
This must be like it's night-form or something, and presumably it looks like a normal jaguar at day. Maybe it can turn invisible at night? I don't know.
Also, note that this jaguar is coming down the mountainside, an explanation for the view position.

I finally have a name for him - This is Wixis, and a friend helped me with his name. But here I drew what I imagine of his world so far.
As the story goes, there was a world of soap, and inhabiting it, were the many creations of their god... The Carver. The Carver had lovingly hand-crafted them all... And he crafted their world, the whole thing, with tedious work and expertise with the carving knife. He formed towering forests of soap-trees, rolling hills of smoothly carved soap, rivers of liquid hand soap, lakes of more liquid soap... Bushes and shrubs, of soap, of course. And oceans of liquid soap, too! A whole, enormous world of soap, for all his carefully-carved creations... Each creation was made as perfectly as he could, as flawlessly as he could manage, and all had his equal amount of care and effort. Then, for their emergence into the world he designed, The Carver made a lake of honey. Honey also sorta kills germs, so it's technically still soap, or close enough. Just, a very sweet, golden liquid soap. Thus, his soap carvings emerged from the lake of honey, and walked upon the soap land. And the Carver was very proud of his creations... However, The Carver had an enemy. A rival, who envied his skill and talent. Surprisingly, the enemy, was the Carver's own assistant, who had watched him create all his carvings... And though the Carver cared for his assistant as he did his own creations, the assistant loathed him out of envy of his skill and ability. So the assistant created his own carvings, out of a substance that was vile... This vile substance came to be known as 'The Filth.' This, of course, got his hands covered in the filth. But because the Assistant hated and loathed the soap as The Carver's creations, he refused to use it, and his hands stayed filthy and black. And because he never got clean, disease blighted him, and eyes grew in the palms of his hands... And other gross stuff I don't care to explain. When the Carver saw his Assistant, he was startled, and quickly offered a bar of soap for the Assistant to clean himself with. But the Assistant refused, too prideful to receive the loving gift. None the less, he tried to carve with the filth, and he did... But his creations, they always mirrored those of the Carver's in some way. He simply could not create with the same originality as The Carver could. Finally, the Assistant decided to make a carving, that could change. One that could change to any of the soap creations of the Carver. When he had, he entered it into the world of soap, so it could wreck havoc among the soap creations. And when the Carver saw, he became sorrowful, that his Assistant would do this. He warned his creations to beware the deceiving filth-carving of the Assistant, and to not heed it's tricks and lies. And then he warned them not to drink from or touch the lake of honey (or the Golden Lake as the soap carvings call them) for the Filth's entry to their world had polluted it.
But the Filth (As that is what the soap carvings call the carving of the Assistant.) told the soap carvings, that the Carver was only trying to keep them from achieving the same greatness as him, and that they would be as powerful as the Carver himself if they drank from the lake of honey. Well, the soap carvings fell for it, and drank. And the filth that polluted the golden lake went and polluted them... And parts of the soap carvings turned pitch black, and melted off, as if they had rotted of. And the soap carvings no longer acted like the perfect creatures the Carver had made them as, but they began to do things that were clearly wrong... (We call them 'sins' as I know.)
But that's not all. The Assistant now reaches his hands down to grab at the soap creations, and to take them away, and dissolve them, slowly, in water. For he loathes them, after all. And of course, the soap carvings fled from the huge black hands with eyeballs in their palms that reached down to grab them. And when one of these hands touch a soap carving, the part that was touched turns black and melts away, such as when they drank from the golden lake of honey long ago. But the Filth, which would take on elegant forms to make itself look as if it couldn't possibly be the corrupt thing it truly was, said the hands would take them to it's land... And there, the Filth exaggerated the glorious-ness of it's 'home land,' creating a 'heaven' in the minds of the soap carvings. And so they let themselves be abducted, knowing no better... And so now, only very few soap carvings remain on the world of soap, and these few are lonely. There was then too few for any sort of society, and the Filth and the Carver had been forgotten. And these carvings wander, wondering why they were seemingly made imperfect...
And the Carver, he is extremely sorrowful for the state of his world, and his tears still run. However, he'll only help and interfere with his creations if they ask him for help, for the Filth has tricked many soap carvings into thinking he was the one meaning harm. He doesn't want to force his help onto any of his creations, after all... And he protected those that asked for his help, but others were tricked. And the Filth still tries to trick those who he protects.
Ok, that finished my super long creation story... If there's ever a story made, this platypus who's missing his hind legs will be the main character. As you can see, the setting is sorta apocalyptic, for most of the world of Soap is barren of the creatures, because the Assistant abducted them. Anyway, there's actually probably more to it, but ya gotta read the story comic that I'm making of Wixis there. (Note that this story is not yet on my blog.)

Just a depiction of the main characters of that plot consisting of hyenas on the street.
Well, the one of the right (Cat) is more main than the one on the right (Rat.) Now to describe...
Cat is a grumpy, irritable character, though very serious. He has a bit of an attitude problem, but he's extremely intelligent, clever, and witty. Quick on his feet, but not so acute on raw strength itself, he isn't necessarily aggressive, or all too assertive. He'll be so if he must, but besides that, Cat is a rather quiet character that would rather mind his own business. He was named 'Cat' for his supposed cat-like personality... These hyenas do not use traditional African names, but instead, things like 'Cat' or 'Rat.' Siblings always have names that each start with the same letter. Continuing, Cat isn't 'Anti-social' nor is he unusually friendly. He'll be social without difficulty, but he has no particular drive to be so. He may have been anti-social in the past, but he isn't so any longer, seeing his mother was the matriarch and his sister second-in-command, so he tended to be in a lot of social situations. Cat would rather listen than talk, and his logic and reasoning is very acute. He is also tranquil and opportunistic, and practically never panics. 'Sly' would describe him well. He is often hard on others, though, possibly because he is hard on himself. He also has no shame in fleeing battle, or giving up, or being taken captive. As long as he gets out of it alive, Cat is content. He also tends to be pessimistic.
Rat is the near-opposite of Cat. He is a hyper, and dreadfully illogical, and much more aggressive in battle and towards enemies than Cat. Rat is also very social and friendly, and requires attention and company, where as Cat would rather be alone. The two met as cubs, and it went a little something like this...
Cat was rummaging through a pile of trash, the outcome of tipped-over trash can. Occasionally, he'd root out a chocolate bar wrapper, or a banana peel, and toss it aside... Then, he heard a squeak, not far behind. Raising his head and glancing back, Cat saw another cub, with the tin cat he had tossed aside over it's head. "Who are you? I'm Rat!" Rat introduced, shaking off the tin can. "Cat." Cat answered, and Rat gave a long, shocked gasp. "Our names... Rhyme! That means we have to be friends!" He exclaimed on an excited, cheerful note. "Why does that mean we have to be frie-" Cat began, bewildered, but was cut off when Rat pounced on him in a playful attempt.
And so, Rat has followed Cat around ever since, and the two became as close as siblings. Rat seems quite admiring of Cat, like a younger sibling, and often 'shadows' him in ways. Playful, energetic, and optimistic, Rat has more tenancy to panic than Cat. However, this doesn't mean he's a coward... In fact, Rat's panicked state is probably his most dangerous. While all his tactics of attack follow along the lines of a berserk like most hyenas, if Rat is panicked while having the knowledge that he must slay a foe, his frantic desperation and panic will make his berserk all the more deadly. But then, just as Cat, he lack raw strength, and has more speed to speak of. Rat is an only sibling, from a low-ranking mother, thus is own rank is rather lowly as well. If insulted by a stranger or enemy, Rat may attack... But if insulted by an ally, he'll likely sob. Concluding that, Rat tends to be very emotional, and has a bit of a temper. He'll also lap up alcoholic drinks when he's lucky enough to ever find any in garbage cans, however he hasn't ever found enough to get drunk. Not that he's aware it could make him drunk in the first place...
That concludes my descriptions. Anyway, the lighting of Cat here seems a bit fishy...

It's a hyena, watching a stamped of wildebeest. Specifically speaking, watching it for a wildebeest that might be elderly, sick, young, or wounded.
Here, I will put the information on these two characters. Bess and Boss are two identical twin hyenas that live in the city, like many other hyenas do in what modern African cities there are. But Bess and Boss weren't born on the streets - These two spent their cubhood in a fightdog arena. The men owning it were uneducated on hyenas, and thus unaware that they could best wolves, let alone dogs, in battle. So, once old enough, Bess and Boss were forced to fight. Now, hyenas are extremely aggressive animals, but they wouldn't attack something like a dog unless it was near their food, or on their territories... And these dogs were doing neither to these two. So, the dogs always attacked first, and the two learned to loath dogs because of their brutal experiences with them. But being a stronger species, they always won, and so their owner came to value them for the money they made through gambling... Thus they came to be named, 'Bess' and 'Boss.' Like all the other dogs, the two twin sisters were fed dog meat, in hopes of making them more aggressive towards their opponents... Instead, they gained a strong loathing for the taste of dog. This confuses other hyenas of the streets, for a small dog is often a snack to them, that Bess and Boss might refuse to eat dog. Due to all their distressed chewing at their cage bars, and all the fighting they did, these two have a powerful jaw force. And hyenas can already crunch bones with the same ease that we eat toast... They are also covered in scars from the wounds of battle, which were only give a little medical attention because their owner, as I said before, valued them for the money they made. Their forms are quite muscular, not ridiculously so of course, but still very muscular. They are also very large compared to the usual hyena, and thus have a larger stride. And considering the fact that muscles and scars are one in the same with feminine beauty among hyenas, they certainly aren't ugly, especially not to other hyenas. Skilled in battle, the two are not of any lower intelligence - For, they relied on tactic a lot when escaping their cruel master. In fact, had they not suffered the arena, then their intelligence would have been their highest strength. Once free, they eventually figured after a few returns to their owner, they had to be rid of their phone number tags on their chain collars. And so, they tore it off each other's collar with use of their trained jaw strength, leaving on their name tags, which say their names; 'Bess' and 'Boss.' The two, being identical twins, are extremely close. When one feels pain, physical or emotional, the other feels it as well. If one died, than the other would likely die of grief not long after. Thankfully, they were never paired against each other in the arena, only facing over dogs, sometimes facing them together. All hyenas have a spot they can't exactly reach... But say you bite Bess there, and Boss can still get at you. The two don't enjoy killing, nor do they hate it. But once they escaped onto the streets, they kept to themselves as rogues, and joined no clan. However, they'll kill someone for you, if you give them food for it. The two are both assertive and seemingly pitiless with all who are not direct allies... Not that they have many allies to speak of in the first place. They loath canines of all sorts due to their experiences, and will slaughter any canine that gets too close (Or in other words, within a 25-foot-radius of them.) or interact in any way. They can be told apart, by their different scars and name tags. All hyena siblings have one dominant sibling... And though there isn't really any dominance among these two twins, Boss is the closest to dominant, hence her name. Both are 'sassy', have a temper, and are extremely protective of allies, but generally neutral to other hyenas... Unless 'hired' to kill that hyena. However, it would be nothing personal.
Bess and Boss will be main-ish characters in a story in the future that I plan to write, and the plot is already decided.
Also, if you didn't notice, they're standing next to each other. I once had their sides pressing together, however that made them look like Siamese twins, so I tried to fix that... Also, their eyes are not red, their supposed to be a reddish-brown.

I don't get what I see in vultures that other people don't. I mean, they're such beautiful and graceful creatures! I'm not sure of how many people have actually seen vultures flying, they are very elegant in flight. And yet, while we know they're important to the ecosystem and thus do not threaten their existence, they are still often 'bad-guys' in some stories, and often portrayed as ugly. No one ever tries to show the beauty in vultures... Well, I can't say no one, because I myself was trying right here.
Anyway, here you can see, this vulture is white... Because it's albino. Actually a character, who belongs to a certain story. This story may be a short story or something longer, I'm not sure... But anyway, that's actually the title of the story, 'The White Vulture.' You can read about it if it ever is written.
As of this picture... I sorta messed up with the shading.

I drew a jaguar, because I needed to calm down after some recent distress...
So, here it is. I hope you people out there who may or may not actually look at this blog like it.

Don't ask, because I don't know.
I just felt like drawing hula-dancing hippos... I like Hawaii, and I like hippos. But why did my mind decide to mix the two together if hippos don't live in Hawaii?
I have no idea.
But at least I got practice for my humanoid figures!
Note that these two are mother and daughter. The mother is on the right, and the daughter is on the left.

Some poor pangolin watches his forest home burn down...
I think I quite accurately named this picture 'Up in the Blazes', too. Also, if you don't know what a pangolin is, I suggest you look them up.

I psychedelic-ified Mortimer. For the fun of it, I guess?
My attempt to draw an electric blue day gecko. Enjoy.
(Sorta failed with the green light, though.)
(Sorta failed with the green light, though.)
I just sorta tried something new with the rainbow lights, and then played with the shading and went crazy with it... I have no regrets.
Anyway, this is the sort of immortal being who... I guess, could be called the 'Angel' of Drawkwa? Not the creator, the creator is, of course, the Lord God, as with all my made-up worlds... But, here's the story:
There were once two beings that sort of 'ruled' the word of Drawkwa, in ancient and possibly primitive times. Both had names which I cannot pronounce nor write here, unless I knew the language of the 2,372,356th dimension. Anyway, one was of life, death, creation... As well as chaos, randomness, insanity, and lack of logic. The other, was of order, cycles, logic, time, and the like. These would be the beings, being of Logic and the being of Randomness. Well, one day, the being of Logic got downright tired of the being of Randomness, because the being of Randomness literally threw a banana at it's head... And I assure you, this wasn't the first time, either. So, it left for the next dimension down the street, and the being of Randomness has been the sole 'Governer' of Drawkwa since.
This is it's supposed choice of form, if it were to ever take physical form. And the rainbow-y-ness? Well, what better to represent chaos and disorder than random colors!
I will list the animals it is a mix of here:
Snake - Snakes are random enough, possibly representing any sly nature of the Being of Randomness.
Owl - I... Don't actually know why an owl is in there. Knowledge, maybe?
Raven - The raven is said to be a symbol of Creation and Destruction...
Dragon - Passion, independence... Freedom? These seemed to fit.
Phoenix - Renewal, rebirth, creation... Seemed fitting enough.
Hyena - Hyenas, linked often with insanity because of their supposedly crazed cackles. Also representations of joy.
Deer - Deer are often linked with spiritual things, so I thought it was fitting.
Humming Bird - Humming birds are a symbol of life and creativity.
Gecko - Geckos are symbols of change and creativity.
Jaguar - Jaguars are a another sign of passion and independence... I also like jaguars.

I drew more hyenas out of boredom...
Another picture of that chicken. Why do I like drawing her with reddish sunsets? I have no idea. Note that she will be in a story, one I am working on now, and following it there may be some more dramatic pictures to come.
Poor Mortimer, the three-tailed platypus of Drawkwa that can fluently speak the human language (But only in Turkish!) simply cannot find any lunch without upsetting the local vegetation.
I was just sorta playing around with the lighting and shading here, as you can see... Oh, and all platypus, including Mortimer, eat crabs and shellfish they find on river beds, but nosing around in the muck with their bills.

Go, go and be free, Randomness! Create the havoc your insane little mind craves!
Finally, I got this thing done. I was working on it 4-5 days, not including the 4 days on my recent trip. I used all three tactics on Randomness herself, but got lazy with the by-standers. The shading on her right hind foot is off, though.
And, Randomness is a very big draft horse - Donkey hybrid / Mule, a very unusual 18 hands at the withers.
I just love the guy who was selling the cabbages in this picture, and his reaction to Randomness tipping over his cabbages... He looks so dramatic. XD "NOOOOO, MY CABBAGES!!!"
Also, I put this in the 'ideas' section, because I couldn't decide on putting this in 'Races of Zienth' or 'Creatures of Zienth.'

What's this? Is the donkey regretting killing that lioness?...
Unfortunately, I don't think so.
Unfortunately, I don't think so.
Yes there is blood, but not gushing everywhere and all graphic, so I didn't consider it mature content.
Nonetheless, this displays the true nature of the African Wild Donkey, a creature few people know about, and those who hear of it generally think of it as some weak feral donkey... No, quite wrong. All donkeys in general are underestimated, but the wild ones and ancestor of the domestic donkey that lives out in Africa is to be feared the most. They don't run fast (Short stocky legs, after all), so when confronted with danger, they fight. They live in the most barren areas of the Sahara, occasionally getting food or water at watering holes and then moving on... It has yet to be known why they return to the seemingly lifeless desert, but they do. And when they find other herbivores, or any animal really, drinking the water or eating the plants, they'll attack them too, in order to have some plants and water for themselves as well... After all, watering holes tend to get crowded. Anyway, they are just about down-right aggressive, and would probably attack a lion, zebra, hyena, or the like simply out of sheer aggression. They occasionally gather in make-shift herds, but most separate eventually, excepting mothers and their foals. From what I read, evening caravans crossing the desert feared these donkeys, more than they feared the lions. As it is, even lions know better than to mess with a healthy wild donkey, and I can't say the lion in the picture wasn't minding it's own business...
Unfortunately, this species is going extinct, as farmers bring their cattle to watering holes, and then shoot the donkeys when they attack and try to force their way in for a sip. Poachers are also killing them for their meat, as it has the ridiculous myth that it can heal and little is being done to conserve the species.

Just something I did to practice my shading.
I have not assigned names or gender to either canine, but it seems like the black is optimistic, rebellious, fun-loving, fierce, dominating, liberated, and over-all joyous. On the other hand, the white one looks pessimistic, obedient, submissive, and sorrowful...
This was also something new because I've never done reflections before.

Yet another picture of that tyrannical hen. My poor character, being a horrible monarch who everyone hates isn't easy... And here she is, wondering why she isn't happy. She gained the domination she craved as a youth - So why isn't she joyful?
Because she doesn't love anybody, obviously. She just doesn't understand that... She thinks that happiness is getting what she wants, like some other people out there, and in her case, what she wants isn't money, but to dominate, lead, command, and the like... Oh, and power.

Who would have known that such a cute little chick as shown here would become the cruel and fierce tyrannical matriarch shown as a fully grown chicken higher up on the page... Yes, that's their mother looking down on them.
Look! I can do Logo-y-things! This symbol is of my chimera character, Odd.
Here's a 'Darkrai the Blacktip Reef Shark' ascending to the surface...
I couldn't help it. I imagined a Louis bullshark hunting and this came out. Those are small fish rushing under him, by the way.
Edit: Added the gills which I forgot and moved his eye forward a bit.

Here is just a funny gag of Exxy the Thresher me and a friend imagined... Of Exxy meeting a ghost shark. (Also called elephant sharks.)
Here are some shark-ified characters! Not all are mine, some belong to others, but here I will describe which is which, what species, and what they might be doing if anything in particular. I used lighter shaded streaks streaming from the fins to represent movement, but I'm not sure if it worked. Also, each has a 'backround color.' This backround color is actually relating to their species's environment, not to the character.
Louis - Bull Shark - Upper left - Diving-bombing some unfortunate fish.
Tom - Saw-tooth shark / Sawfish - Lower left - Just swimming by, glancing to Louis's fish, and thinking about going after it herself.
Creature - Cookie-cutter shark - Upper left-ish, close to Louis's tail fin - Chasing a small sardine.
Darkrai - Black-tip reef shark - Top, center - He was chasing a fish, right at the archer between vertical ascent and a horizontal dash, but has froze as he relizes Exxy got it before he did.
Exxy - Pelagic Thresher shark - Upper right corner - Circling back to steal Darkrai's fish, apparently successful.
Chisaki - Mako shark - Center-right, right under Exxy - Tagging along Damen as usual, watching him argue with Blue and wishing the two weren't arguing.
Blue - White-tip reef shark - Center, just left of Chisaki and right below Darkrai - Arguing with Damen.
Damen - Greenland shark - Bottom-right corner - Arguing with Blue, with Chisaki following him around as usual.
Ok, that's all the sharks here. I may shark-ifie more characters in the future, possibly... But I saved the lineart as a different file, and I have a terrible temptation to do a neon-y version of this picture out of it. As in, basically have the sharks as black silhouettes, and then give them a colored glow to show the silhouette, and the backround would be black as well. However, I think I better go asking the owners of these characters before I go doing that right away.

"There are bandits, who ride on killer man-eating Kiwi birds. They ravage the desert, the terrifying 'Kee-wee, kee-wee' of their mounts echoing in the desert like a warcry to signal their coming presence and rampage." (Note that Kiwi birds are named for the 'Kee-wee' noise they make.)
The weird world of Drawkwa soon to come! This is how their desert bandits look, I guess.

It's a Greenland shark. passing under the ice. Above, you can see humans are standing on the ice. The fact that this individual shark may never be seen by any human being at all for all of it's possibly 200-year lifespan appeals to me.
Not only was this practice with humanoids, but here's my character from the game 'Terraria.' I hope I got the chainmail and silver armor correct.
This is a barroth, a beast/monster from a game I played, 'Monster Hunter Tri.' I forgot to do the backround, and thus, I did not bother to shade.
This is Randomness... Randomness is yet another character of mine who is without sanity, and she's a mule. A hybrid of draft-horse and donkey. On the other hand, she has so many meddled horse genetics on her horse-side, that she's not purely draft horse, or purely any breed at all. Nor can you tell of what breed her horse genetics consist of, accept that they were mostly draft horses. Also, she can raise her tail like that because it's basically a really fluffy donkey's tail. Anyway, naturally Randomness would be a coppery color splotched with black, but she also has the genetic defect of being piebald, so she has splotches of 'albino' on her, resulting in her calico coat.
As of her name, Randomness is so named 'Randomness', accurately, because of her extremely unpredictable and bipolar nature. Besides that, she does attack foals, causing most herds to reject her. More lonely than is probably healthy for her already-insane little mind, Randomness talks in third person, and often to rocks, flowers, and other things that can obviously not speak back. Although, of what of her that can be predicted, Randomness is hyper, playful, optimistic, childish, naive, unreliable, and unpredictable. She may or may not attack one without reason, but also may spare them if they 'play' with her. If they reject, she'll likely attack. She has been seemingly 'domesticated' before, but even if the farmer that owned her never had her work even once, and brought out a cube of sugar to her each day, she still might turn on him with unpredictable spurts of aggression and attack.
Yes, she lives of Zienth, but with mules also being an earthly creature, I decided to put her here in the 'ideas' section.

Here also is a goblin shark, and that light above is moonlight.
Here, I've also drawn a thresher shark...
Here, I drew a black boar to practice my fur shading, but it looks a bit more like a cow than a pig, sadly...
I drew this lantern shark for my big brother's birthday.
One of my more savage characters... But you can figure out about her later or something. Anyway, those 'spurs' aren't natural; their the artificial razors put on rooster spurs in some cock-fighting rings.
Here's the swiftly-edited mohawk version.
That's some sort of anthro-animorphized Hawaiian gold gecko, who is 'editing' a painting in a museum, sticking to the wall as he does so. Not that he should be doing that, and I feel bad for the original artist, as he didn't ask any permission and is technically ruining that person's painting. I think I'll name him 'Toki' (Pronounced 'Too-Kee'). Anyway, I guess Toki saw something 'wrong' in the painting, and naturally artistic as he is, just started to 'fix' it. Staring at him in bewilderment, is a young Zaraken krix maiden. Anyway, he's and artist himself as it is, but apparent a mischievous one, and young as hw obviously is, Toki hasn't really had all that much experience yet. Just not yet.
Yet again I am drawing another's character. This is Pierce, the albino griffon. Unfortunately, his mane is cascading over part of his expression, but I was hoping to give him a sort of crazed smile. It didn't work. And I technically think I did better with the backround than with Pierce himself. Because Pierce does not live of Zienth, nor is he native to it, he is thus not in the 'creatures of 'Zienth' section.
This is a phoenix, yess... A phoenix-chicken! This is how Zanari might look if she were a phoenix. (Edit: I tried to make it look a bit more... Fiery.)
Well, this one is actual art, for the point of actually looking good. This is the night sky of Zienth, showing the three moons (Arbtis, Fierken, Kalune) and a few constellations. The comet is simply for fun. There are 6 constellations shown: A snake, a capricorn, a dragon turtle (AKA, a koopa, not from Mario... ), a squid, a quetzal bird, and an eye.
One of the more detailed scenes from my story comic. And, EEK! I forgot Joh's tail!... Oh well. The one on the left is a cocki, Joh. The one of the right is Tanasha, a gnoll.
Here I drew a thylacine.
This is Vayce, also a cow. A British white cow, to be exact.
This is Eae, the cow. You'll learn about her later in some sort of story or animation or something, I hope...
I drew a hyena, simply out of boredom.
I tried to draw an African wild dog. I think I may have gotten the orange of the pelt a bit too bright, and a bit too far from the sandier color of most African Wild Dogs.
A doe I drew. She's got immature antlers on her head, due to high levels of testosterone. She's also melanistic, but you can't tell because I drew her in pencil.
THIS IS XAVIER, THE INTER-DIMENSIONAL PLUSHIE. Cute, isn't he?
Here's this anthro-animorphized platypus again, offering a banana to Link, from Legends of Zelda. Why? Well, for one thing, this is supposed to be a very random picture.
Here's an anthro-animorphized platypus I drew. Her name is Tom, and yes I know Tom is a boy's name. I gave her that name because Tom's 'theme' is awkwardness, weirdness, and the like. As you probably noticed, she's wearing socks with sandals, which is supposed to be a reference to a particularly humorous animation I saw about this one person who wore socks with sandals, and how everyone over-reacted about it.
This creature here is a Krotite, a race from the game Aquaria. They're aquatic, as you can easily see. Very war-waging and battle-thirsty, though. According to the story line, they much preferred conquest and power over creation. Oh, and they can shoot 'energy bolts' from their palms/hands, but it's more like fireballs that work underwater.
Just a dog I drew. The fur is short, except for the long fur draping over the paws. If you pushed the shaggy fur aside, you'd find this mongrel has white on the tips of it's paws. I think I got it's neck too long, though...
Here's a closer look at the picture on the home page. In Job, chapter 41 of the Bible, there is a very impressive description of the Leviathan. I drew a picture of one based off that description.
![Picture](/uploads/2/5/4/5/25450367/editor/9707161-1.jpg?250)
Ok, this one's hat is the right size. It's also looking down on a small horned marten. You know, the ones in the Inkheart series. I only hope I did it right...
Rearranging the blog, I sorta got this one stuck to the text, which is annoying.
Rearranging the blog, I sorta got this one stuck to the text, which is annoying.
I'll have a another picture with better proportions coming soon; The hat is too tiny, so I made it bigger in my second picture.
Here is the Ran-ja. I guess you could say they're 'aliens' because the live on another planet, but their not as advanced as we are yet. Very much like medieval Japan. They have some very shiny, glossy, shimmery, glittery white scales, and ocean-blue coloration on their shanks. This one if wearing armor, and a cape which is draping over it's incredibly long tail. They end of the tail it tipped with two sickle-like blades. They are also very bird-like in their structure, and have some flight ability. Their black talons and wings have a bit of gripping ability as well. They seem to have fins coming just from behind their ears, as you can see. They also have access to a strange, pure-white metal which they forge their armor and blades from. The ran-ja are also strictly carnivores. They probably stand about 7 feet tall to the shoulder, and have rather crane-like movements. Meaning, they're rather graceful.
